The Importance of Invisible Worlds
In voice over, we’re asked to breathe life into worlds we often won’t actually see until the job is over. But how can you realistically portray a character in a void? We don’t have sets, or costumes, or facial expressions to help us out - your inner world needs to be so vivid that audiences can see what you see through your voice alone. This lecture will delve into how to “see" your characters in a fully formed environment with a life outside the page and a voice beyond the walls of your booth (or the shirts in your closet).

Erika Harlacher-Stone is a Los Angeles based voice actor and singer/songwriter who is best known for her work in anime and video games. With a degree in Theatre and over a decade of professional voice over experience, she specializes in character work and improvisation and combines traditional acting training with voice over training to bring scenes to life.

In the event that a lecture has to be canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the event, one-time ticket purchasers can email [email protected] for a refund exception if the new date is not suitable. If the rescheduled lecture has already occurred, one-time ticket purchasers will not be eligible for the refund exception.
